The Al Parker Album captures one of gay erotic culture’s most recognizable men at the height of his appeal. Published by Colt Studio in 1982, the album presents Parker in the visual language that made him an icon: denim, body hair, natural muscle, and the easy confidence of a man who understood exactly how to be looked at.
Parker was more than a model with a famous face. Born Andrew Robert Okun, he became a major figure in gay adult film as a performer, director, producer, and founder of Surge Studios. His work helped define a specific era of gay male desire — masculine, hairy, physical, unpolished, and direct.
That appetite has not gone away. Original Al Parker material continues to draw collectors because it sits at the center of vintage gay sexual history: Colt photography, early adult video culture, studio-era star power, and a kind of male heat that still sells on sight.
