The story
Most seventies porn magazines sold you a body. Cass & Andy sells you a couple. House One of California built the whole issue around two guys and called it a photo study of young men in love, which is a much sweeter pitch than anything else on the rack, right up until you open it. Then it's every bit as filthy as you were hoping it would be.
House One ran its business out of North Hollywood, on Vineland Avenue in the Valley, and this printing carries their 1976 "international re-copyright." The cover throws in a teaser for "The Hustlers" for good measure, because one love story was never going to be enough.

Why it matters
Cass & Andy is a House One of California special built around one couple, sold on the cover as a photo study of young men in love. House One put the romance up front and the sex everywhere else, and it's one of the few seventies porn magazines that sells you a relationship instead of just a body.
