Front: clean and glossy with sharp corners and no creases; only a couple of tiny dark specks in the white masthead area at top center. Back: rubbing and darkening along the spine (right) edge with a few small white chips and flecks near the top and middle, plus a tiny nick at the top right; a mottled white scuffed patch along the left edge in the lower half, and a small bump or curl at the left edge near the bottom; a couple of short dark streaks near the top left; light toning to the cream ad panel and a few scattered small specks across the blue. Inside: the contents page (inside front cover) is clean and bright; the black-and-white pages shown, including pages 16 and 18, are clean; faint offset ghosting from facing pages shows in the light areas of the 'Leo & Lance' page and on the right side of the inside back cover ad, which otherwise has light handling only.
The story

The Marquee caption does the introductions: muscled Michael Christopher is standing and Neal Shaw sits below him, two of the stars of Buckshot Productions' "Easy Entry," in exclusive stills that "appear only here." The cover promises 18 hot color pages and lists Eric Ryan, Chris Burns, Roger, Luke, Lee Marlin, Jack Wrangler and Ed Wiley, and the indicia signs off with ©1983.

Toby Ross follows "Cruisin' '57" with "The Last Surfer," Hand in Hand pays tribute to Jack Deveau's lasting images, and Higgins' "Leo & Lance" gets its late-summer spotlight, with a locker-room page that's all chest hair and towel and Frank Vickers in "Pumping Oil" spreading his cheeks for the camera. The ads are half the fun. V.B.M. sells "The Last Surfer" at $69.95 with Jake Scott in tiny blue shorts, and the back cover is McNulty's "Around the World in 60 Minutes," drawn by an artist who signed it RAW 83.
