A first issue that puts a full-frontal color nude right on the cover and doesn't apologize for it. Little titles like His tended to vanish after an issue or two, so a clean number one doesn't come around often.

OBJECT STORY

Five dollars, issue one, and the cover doesn’t hold back. His, subtitled “Handsome Is,” opens with a full-frontal color nude stretched out on bright green, red and blue drapes, grinning straight at the camera.

The back cover is a second full-page nude, seated on a stool. Both covers say “Adults Only” and the front adds “Not for Sale to Minors.” The colors are still bright, with light edge wear.
