Front: a yellow 'The Brown Elephant' price sticker marked $5.00 sits over the top of the word 'THE' in the title card at upper right; the white margins show a few faint grey specks and a small dark dot at left beside 'GOOD', with light rubbing along the spine (left) edge and a tiny mark at the bottom right corner. Back: light rubbing along the bottom edge with small pale flecks, most at the lower left corner, and a faint rub line down the spine (right) edge; color is otherwise clean and bright. Inside: the color pages shown, including the blue and olive dog-tag spreads, are clean and glossy with only a few tiny printing specks; no tears or writing seen.
The story

"A Few Good Men..." is the first thing the cover says, and Al Parker's Surge Studio delivers them in full color: The Recruit, a Steve Scott film starring Peter Wave and Lee Stern, printed at $15.00 with the code GM 10. The cover shot goes straight to the hayloft with legs in the air, and the pages keep coming back to the straw.

Between barn scenes the army kit comes out: a camouflage cap tipped like a salute, dog tags on bare chests, camo fatigues opened at exactly the right moment and a bunk bed wrapped in smoke. The layouts run bright blue and army green with white dog-tag graphics, and this copy still wears a Brown Elephant price sticker reading $5.00.
