THE STORY BEHIND THE OBJECT.

WHY IT MATTERS

Issue one from San Francisco's Lobo Studios, introducing two "exclusive discoveries," Jeff Porter and Cal Driver, in flannel and denim. Lobo found them first; now you get to.

OBJECT STORY

Issue No. 1 from Lobo Studios in San Francisco, and the title tells you the theme. It introduces two "exclusive discoveries," Jeff Porter and Cal Driver. The cover man is all mustache and aviators, in an open flannel shirt and paint-spattered jeans.

There are sixteen hot color pages, plus grainy black-and-white solo sets and a hairy, bearded man on the back cover. It's pure 1980 San Francisco working-man fantasy.
