THE STORY BEHIND THE OBJECT.
Bruno was the face of 1970s gay macho, a Colt and Target man with the mustache and the chest hair to prove it. Here he shares the bill with Hawk in a biker special that went back to press by popular demand, and the cover says so.
Piston Power! promises "Men Who Like Their Sex On Wheels," featuring Hawk and Bruno, at $10 a copy. The corner flash reads "2nd Big Printing by Popular Demand!", so this copy is the reprint that followed a sell-through.
The front cover is all blue sky, bare skin and a motorcycle frame. The back cover is a hairy, mustached man stripped against a white pickup truck, with the old warning printed across the tailgate: "Sales To Minors Strictly Forbidden!"
