The story
Issue No. 1 of Very Uncut sets out its whole editorial policy on the cover, where a slashed-out pair of scissors sits next to the promise of "All-Color Unclipped Action!" The cover man is a muscled Black man stretched out on white sheets and holding it all up for inspection, and the two panels underneath give you a dark-haired man lounging on blue cushions and a hand easing back a foreskin in close-up.
Al Parker is among the men inside, every page is in color, and every page is two men. A blond stands in drifting smoke while a bearded man kneels for him, a bearded white man and a mustached Black man share a chair under a framed sign, and one full page is nothing but a foreskin and a waiting tongue against a blue backdrop. The back cover moves the action to a wall of wood planks, with three little yellow stars in the corner and the fine print in capitals.
